As a pendulum swings back and forth, its total energy is 16 J. What is its kinetic energy at 3/4 its maximum height?

Answer:

KE = 4 J

Explanation:

As we know that for swinging pendulum the total energy of the pendulum is always conserved

so here its total energy is

E = 16 J

now when the pendulum will reach to its maximum height then its total energy will convert into potential energy

so here at 3/4 of its maximum height the potential energy will also become 3/4 times of total energy

so it is given as

U = \frac{3}{4}(16) = 12 J

now by energy conservation we will have

K + U = 16 J

K + 12 = 16

K = 4 J

amid [387]

Responder:

18.75 atmósferas

Explicación:

Paso uno:

datos dados

volumen inicial V1 = 25L

Presión inicial P1 = 7.5 atm

volumen final V2 = 10L

presión final P2 = ??

Segundo paso:

Aplicando la expresión de gas que relaciona el volumen y la presión, es decir

P1V1 = P2V2

sustituyendo nuestros datos tenemos

7.5 * 25 = P2 * 10

187.5 = P2 * 10

divide ambos lados por 10

P2 = 187.5 / 10

P2 = 18.75 atmósferas

<em><u>La presión final es de 18.75 atm.</u></em>

Consider the uniform electric field \vec{E} =(4000~\hat{j}+3000~\hat{k})~\text{N/C} E ⃗  =(4000 j ^  +3000 k ^  ) N/
likoan [24]

Answer:

Electric flux \phi=31562.63\ Nm^2/C

Explanation:

Given that,

Electric field acting on the circular area, E=(4000j+3000k)\ N/C

We need to find the electric flux through a circular area of radius 1.83 m that lies in the xy-plane. It lies in xy plane, such that the area vector point in z direction. The electric flux is given by :

\phi=E{\cdot}A

\phi=(4000j+3000k){\cdot}Ak

Using dot product properties, we get the value of electric flux as :

\phi=3000\times Ak

\phi=3000\times \pi (1.83)^2

\phi=31562.63\ Nm^2/C

So, the electric flux through a circular area is \phi=31562.63\ Nm^2/C . Hence, this is the required solution.
