Answer:

Total War

Explanation:

The strategy of the Union during the last stages of the Civil War was called “Total War” which meant that there was a war without limits, without ethics, with no distinctions between civilians and soldiers. The Union adopted the tactics because they knew that if they attacked the southern population the Confederacy would not stand very long.

With this strategy, the Union was able to destroy the South’s economy and morale, they destroyed railroads, deprived people and the army from supplies and communications, they burned farmland.

: How do you think the growth of cities in New York state impacted the state’s economy?
adell [148]

Answer:

The economy of the State of New York is reflected in its gross state product in 2018 of $1.7 trillion, ranking third in size behind the larger U.S. states of California and Texas. If New York State were an independent nation, it would rank as the 12th or 13th largest economy in the world, depending upon international currency fluctuations. However, in 2013, the multi-state, New York City-centered Metropolitan Statistical Area produced a gross metropolitan product (GMP) of nearly US$1.39 trillion,[9] while in 2012, the corresponding Combined Statistical Area[10] generated a GMP of over US$1.15 trillion, both ranking first nationally by a wide margin and behind the GDP of only twelve nations and eleven nations, respectively.[11]

In the fourth demographic stage (postindustrial stage) of the demographic transition the population will stabilize
-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

b. At a population larger than before the transition, but with very slow or no growth

Explanation:

The fourth demographic stage also known as the post-industrial stage refers to the stage of demographic transition when the population has stabilized and is close to achieving or has achieved zero population growth. This means that both the birth rate and death rate are very low. This leads to a sustainable and stabilized population with no major population changes. Most of the major European countries have achieved this along with North American countries. China and South Korea has also achieved fourth demographic stage.
