The endocrine system is very essential to maintain homeostasis in our body. It is so because at cellular level all the activities are initiated, controlled and regulated by the hormones released by the endocrine system. Any imbalance in the hormone release or failure of endocrine system can dismantle the internal stability and functioning of body organ and may even cause deaths in extreme cases.
