Which statement best describes the epic feature used in this excerpt and its effect on the plot? The difficult journey that Gilg

amesh must undertake causes him to feel defeated. The vast landscape that Gilgamesh must travel through adds tension to the plot. The intervention of the supernatural gives Gilgamesh hope that he will defeat Humbaba. The narrative voice of the epic poem makes it difficult for the audience to relate to Gilgamesh.

Answer:

The intervention of the supernatural gives Gilgamesh hope that he will defeat Humbab

Explanation:

Based on the excerpt, Enkidu declares that Gilgamesh is protected by the Divine Providence and he shall be with him through every step of the way and guide him when he sets out to duel with Humbaba.

Enkidu further tells Gilgamesh that Lord Shamash would uphold him to defeat his adversary and give him great blessings.

All these happened in Gilgamesh's dream which gives him the courage and elief that he would defeat Humbaba, with the help of the supernatural.
