So, are of a trapezoid is add the bases, divide the hieght by two, and multiply them together.
the bases were 3 and 5, so add them together, you get 8.
the height was 2, so divide 2 by 2, you get 1
Multiply them, you get 8
8 is the area of your trapezoid.

The area of a rectangle or a square is to multiply the base times the height.
the base was 3 and the height was 10, so multiply and you get 30.
30 is the area of your rectangle.

The area of a triangle is to multiply the base by times the height and then divide by 2.
3 is the base, height is 4, multiply and you get 12.
divide 12 by 2, and you get 6.
6 is the area of the triangle.

To find the area of the entire shape, you add all the areas together.

8 is the area of the trapezoid.
30 is the area of the rectangle.
6 is the area of the triangle.
30+8+6=44

Your area is 44in^2

Area of the triangle-
(4*3)/2= 6

Area of the rectangle-
10*3= 30

Area of the trapizoid
(3+5)/2*2= 8

add them all together:
30+8+6= 44

your answer is 44 inches (:

jasenka [17]

The sample size of 36 will produce the widest 95% confidence interval when estimating the population parameter option (b) is correct.

What are population and sample?

It is described as a collection of data with the same entity that is linked to a problem. The sample is a subset of the population, yet it is still a part of it.

We have:

A sample has a sample proportion of 0.3.

Level of confidence = 95%

At the same confidence level, the larger the sample size, the narrower the confidence interval.

As we have a 95% confidence interval the sample size should be lower.

The sample size from the option = 36 (lower value)

Thus, the sample size of 36 will produce the widest 95% confidence interval when estimating the population parameter option (b) is correct.

Ten less than a number is three more than six times the number.
Dahasolnce [82]

Write it as an equation:

X - 10 = 6x + 3

Now solve for x:

Subtract 3 from both sides:

x-13 = 6x

Subtract 1 x from both sides:

-13 = 5x

Divide both sides by 5:

x = -13/5
