Which of the following is true if cells need R5P but not NADPH?A. G6P is converted to Ru5PB. Glycolysis provides GAP and F6P to

make R5PC. R5P can not be made without co-generating NADPHD. R5P can not be made using the intermediates of glycolysis

Answer:

B. GLYCOLYSIS PROVIDES G3P AND F6P TO MAKE R5P

Explanation:

Ribose-5-phosphate is produced by the pentose phosphate pathway which is a process that works in line with glycolysis.

The need for NADPH and cell growth determines the production of ribose-6-phosphate in the cell.

Glucose-6- phosphate controls the flow of production from these two processes (pentose phosphate pathway and glycolysis)

During glycolysis, glycolytic intermediates can be used to produce R5P. This is so when the cells demands R5P than it desires NADPH

Glucose -6- Phosphate is converted to fructose-6-phosphate and glycealdehyde-3-phosphate during this process.

Two molecules of fructose-6-phosphate and a molecule of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphatr are then converted to three molecules of Ribose-5-phosphate by enzymes transketolase and transaldolase.

Which process transfers heat from inside Earth to its surface? Convection currents in mantle Pulling away of tectonic plates Dra
kondor19780726 [428]

Answer:

Convection currents in the mantle

Explanation:

Our current laws of Physics recognize that heat is transferred by one of ...

 • conduction
 • convection
 • radiation.

Radiation is a mechanism for transferring heat through space. That mechanism doesn't really apply inside the "solid" Earth. While a certain amount of heat is transferred by conduction, the rock making up the bulk of the Earth is a poor conductor of heat.

The majority of the heat is transferred by the hot rock physically moving from the center of the earth toward the surface in the process called convection.

Explain why an organism cannot choose to have a mutation that would enable it to live more successfully in its environment.
vaieri [72.5K]

Answer:

Explanation:

An organism can't chose to have a mutation because it depends on the way they are born. If they are missing some type of mineral, (Protein, Vitamin, etc.) they will have a mutation because they're missing that. Well, something similar to a mutation is natural selection and genes. For example, there are some short and tall giraffes. The tall ones can reach the tree and the short ones can't so they die and the tall ones can reproduce and their offspring will inherit that trait
