What were the causes of the exponential growth for humans in the last 200 years?

Biology

Answer:

According to researchers, several factors have led to an increase in the human population since the last 200 years.

The main reason for the growth in the human population is the decrease in the rate of deaths as compared to the rate of births. With the developments in science and particularly health sciences, the death rate by infections or diseases has been reduced to minimal. Even efforts are being made to increase the life span of a human being by scientists.

On the other hands, the birth rates are increasing day by day. The population is increasing mainly in third world countries where people do not take care of birth controls.

Maria predicts that the amount of light in an environment will affect the growth of algae living in that environment. Which of t
Sati [7]

Answer:

Option A is the correct answer. To conduct a controlled experiment would be the best choice for Maria to test her prediction.

Explanation:

A controlled experiment can be described as an test in which one of the test models is kept constant for a variable, while in other experimental models, a change is made for testing the variable.

It would be best for Maria to conduct a controlled experiment. In the control model, Maria should keep light as constant whereas in other experimental models she should increase and decrease the quality of light to test her prediction. She should then compare her experimental results with the control model to deduce the results.

A computer simulation showing models of planes crashing is a good way to study the effects of plane safety.why?
MAXImum [283]

Answer:

Flight simulators are widely used for pilot training in the aviation industry, military pilot training, simulation of disasters or failures in flight, and aircraft development.

These simulations are used for pilot training, whose essential function is to train the crew in normal, abnormal and emergency procedures, before and during flight, practicing innumerable situations, such as: failures in electronic systems, loss of power, tailwinds and many others, which cannot be done safely with an aircraft in real situations. Explains to the new pilots the movements and attitudes of the ships, becoming a fundamental part of the training, saving lives and large economic losses.

These simulations allow knowing the causes of each plane crash in order to modify the operating procedures and training, so that its repetition is avoided. Flight safety investigations are complex and analyze numerous factors, and rather than investigating the persons responsible, it tries to find out the causes of the incident, considering human factors and technical issues.

How did each change to the land affect the fish in the pond?
N76 [4]
<span>Lakes and ponds are inland bodies of standing or slowly moving water. Although lakes and ponds cover only 2 percent of the world's land surface, they contain most of the world's fresh water. Individual lakes and ponds range in area from a few square meters to thousands of square kilometers. In general, ponds are smaller than lakes, though regional idiosyncrasies of naming abound—Henry David Thoreau's famous Walden Pond in Massachusetts has a surface area of 64 acres. Lakes and ponds are an important source of fresh water for human consumption and are inhabited by a diverse suite of organisms.</span>
