Step 1. Carefully cut two large windows in a shoe box, as shown in the illustration. Your windows should be on opposite sides of

the shoe box. The windows should be directly across from one another to create a clear line of sight between them.
Step 2. Place the tennis ball inside the shoe box.

Step 3. With the windows on the shoe box open, shine a flashlight through one window and out the other. You should see the light emerge on the opposite side of the shoe box.

Step 4. Experiment with the shoe box’s window flaps and the tennis ball to find out under what conditions the light from the flashlight will be blocked or visible.

DESCRIBE what happened during the video. Record your findings below.
Step 5
Identify the components, inputs, and outputs of your simple model system. Also identify the boundaries of the system.
Step 6
Identify an interaction between two components that shows a cause-and-effect relationship.
Step 7
What component(s) could you add to your system to change the light input?

Pls do this step by step

Explanation:

1)observation is that the light doesn't reach some parts of the points of interest

2)this is because the rays of the light were interrupted by different objects thus making the light divert different ways.

A 6.0 M HCI solution is diluted to make 500 mL of a 2.5 M HCI solution. What volume of the 6.0 M HCI solution is required to mak
rodikova [14]

Answer:

V₁ = 208.3 mL

Explanation:

Given data:

Initial molarity of HCl = 6.0 M

Final volume = 500 mL

Final molarity = 2.5 M

Volume of initial solution required = ?

Solution:

Formula:

M₁V₁ = M₂V₂

Now we will put the values in formula.

6.0 M × V₁ = 2.5 M ×500 mL

6.0 M × V₁ = 1250 M.mL

V₁ = 1250 M.mL / 6.0 M

V₁ = 208.3 mL

What is 2H2 + O2 2H2O in oxidation form and in reduction form?
Eva8 [605]

In the reaction of water, 2H2 is oxidized to form 2H2O by gaining oxygen atom which shows that 2H2 is reducing agent as it undergoes oxidation.

What is reducing agent?

A reducing agent is a type of chemical that "donates" an electron to another atom that needs an electron. This type of reaction in which loss of electron occurs is called reduction reaction.

So we can conclude that 2H2 is oxidized to form 2H2O by gaining oxygen atom which shows that 2H2 is reducing agent as it undergoes oxidation.
