(B) Turning the TV off at night.

Reasons:

(A) Just because your stove is not in use does not mean you should unplug it. It is unreasonable to unplug all electrical appliances in the house which is why most of them come with an on/off switch

(B)  Storing flammable materials in a cool place is good practice because if you store them somewhere where they can heat up, there is the possibility that the heat will ignite them.

(D) Not overloading the outlets is a really good practice, actually, but this generally is something you should watch out for during holidays especially Christmas when you need the use of multiple plugs for Christmas lights etc. Overloading outlets can spark a fire or knock out your power but is not generally a concern in everyday life.

lubasha [3.4K]

Explanation:

Along with the spinal cord, the hippocampus becomes part of the central nervous system. The nervous system of the body is the coordination and decision-making hub. The nervous system consists of the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system and, in essence, the peripheral nervous system consists of nerves. The nervous system as a whole is responsible for every aspect of the everyday life of a human being, ranging from breathing and blinking to allowing one to remember. In a survey, truth. The brain is connected to the forehead, eyes, ears, nose, and spinal cord by the nerves, from which they connect to the rest of the body. Sensory nerves are the group of nerves responsible for collecting and relaying information from the world of the body to the spinal cord, which in turn accelerates the message to the brain. Then the brain integrates the message and creates a reaction. The signals from the brain to all the body parts are transmitted by another category of nerves known as motor neurons. The spinal cord is a message superhighway, consisting of a series of nerves running up and down the spine, constantly transmitting signals to and from the brain.Three major segments are made up of the brain: the forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain. The forebrain contains the hypothalamus, the thalamus and the cerebrum. The tegmentum and the tectum compose the midbrain. The cerebellum, pons and medulla consist of the hindbrain. The midbrain, the pons, and the medulla are also commonly referred to as the brainstem.A schematic representation of the brain and its different components is seen below:

The cerebrum is the main part of the human brain, also known as the cerebral cortex, connected to higher brain functions such as movement and feeling. The cerebral cortex is divided into four segments: the frontal lobe, the parietal lobe, the occipital lobe, and the temporal lobe, referred to as lobes. As explained below, each of the lobes conducts distinct functions:

Frontal Lobe-related to preparation, thought, thoughts, parts of voice, motion, and problem solving

Parietal Lobe-related to perception of orientation, motion, recognition, and stimuli

Occipital Lobe- Visual processing related

Temporal lobe-related to memory, auditory stimulus perception and recognition, and speech and me done
