Molds and kelp belong to the Protista kingdom that  contains eukaryotic organisms that do not belong to the Kingdoms of Fungi, Plantae or Animalia. Those organisms can be either multicelled (<span>kelp, slime molds, red algae) or single-celled (Paramecium).
