3Zn(OH)₂       +     2H₃PO₄   →   Zn₃(PO₄)₂   +     6H₂O

Explanation:

To balance this equation, we must understand that in every chemical reaction, the number of atoms is usually conserved.

The total number of atoms on the reactant and product sides must be equal and the same.

         Zn(OH)₂       +     H₃PO₄   →   Zn₃(PO₄)₂   +     H₂O

We are are going to use simple, solvable algebraic equations to balance this;

          aZn(OH)₂       +     bH₃PO₄   →   cZn₃(PO₄)₂   +     dH₂O

 a, b,c and d are the number of coefficient that will balance this equation:

  Conserving Zn ;  a = 3c

                       O:   2a + 4b = 8c + d

                       H:  2a + 3b = 2d

                        P:   b = 2c

let c = 1;

      a = 3

       b = 2

solving for d;

           2d = 2(3) + 3(2)

              d = 6

      3Zn(OH)₂       +     2H₃PO₄   →   Zn₃(PO₄)₂   +     6H₂O

Gwar [14]

(a) 485 x 200 mg = 97000 mg of ibuprofen in the bottle

97000 mg x (1g/1000mg) = 97g of ibuprofen in the bottle

97g (1 mol/ 206.5gC13H18O2) = 0.46973 moles of ibuprofen in the bottle

(b) 0.46973 mol C13H18O2 (6.022 x 10^23 molecules/1mol) = 2.8287 x 10^23 molecules of ibuprofen in the bottle

Convert 22 ml in to liters
prisoha [69]

Answer:

0.022

Explanation:

milliter (ml) = 1 cubic centimeter (cc)= 0.001 liters (l) = 0.000001 cubic meters (m3).

1 ml = 0.061024 cubic inches (in3) ; 1 in3 = 16.4 ml.

1 ml = 0.000035 cubic feet (ft3); 1 ft3 = 28,317 ml.

1 ml = 2.64 x 10-4 U.S. gallons (gal); 1 gal = 4.55 x 103 ml.

A solution is prepared by mixed by mixing 0.10L of 0.14M sodium Chloride with 0.21L of a 0.19M MgCl2 solution. What volume of 0.
MAVERICK [17]
<h2>Answer:0.25L</h2>

Explanation:

If M is the molarity and V is the molarity of a given solution,

number of moles of the solute in the solution is MV.

Number of moles of Cl^{-1} ions in the initial solution is the sum of number of moles of Cl^{-1} ions  in NaCl and MgCl_{2}

Number of moles of Cl^{-1} ions in NaCl is 0.14\times 0.1=0.014moles

number of moles of Cl^{-1} ions  in MgCl_{2} is 0.19\times 0.2=0.038moles

Number of moles of Cl^{-1} ions in the initial solution is 0.014+0.038=0.052moles

So,0.052moles of Ag^{+} ions are required to displace 0.052moles of Cl^{-} ions.

So,number of moles of AgCl required is 0.052moles

V=\frac{n}{M}

So,V=\frac{0.052}{0.21}=0.25L
