Several have appeared, and scholars hesitate in defining the term "Hindu scripture" given the diverse nature of Hinduism.

Several lists include only the Vedas, the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita as scriptures broadly accepted by Hindus. Some lists add some regional texts as the Tantric Agamas, Bhagavata Purana , Yajnavalkya Smriti and Naalayira Divya Prabhandham.

Most of these texts exist in Sanskrit, several others have been composed in regional languages such as Tamil. In modern times, most have been translated into other Indian languages and some in Western languages. In ancient times, the scriptures were transmitted orally, from one generation to next, in verse form to aid memorization, for many centuries before they were written down.

This list includes all major religious Hindu texts, including the Hindu scriptures, as well. Hope this helps! :)

kenny6666 [7]

According to Jane Jacobs, the circumstance that would be most safe for city dwellers will be a busy street with many shoppers, workers, and sightseers walking around.

According to Jane Jacobs, a city that is busy is considered to be the safest for city dwellers.

When the city is busy, people are present in shops, roads, and other places. In this case, there will be less chance for misfortune to happen because an attacker will fear the people that are present around. Hence, when the city is busy and people are either going to work, are present in shops, are working etc, there will be fewer chances of an attack and the city will be safe during this time.
