Answer:

1. 12 sugar cubes

2. 24 sugar cubes

3. 72 by 54 by 144, because it gives you the dimensions for one box so if you need something that will fit 36 boxes then you need to multiply the dimensions by 36.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. multiply all the dimensions given to find volume

2. you could fit twice as many sugar cubes if they are half the original size so just multiply the 12 by 2

Help find domain and range
kolezko [41]

Answer:

d: 4 r:5

Step-by-step explanation:

for domain the x coordinates doesn't go over -2 on the left or 2 on the right so if u add the units of the space in between it's 4 since 2- (-2)=4

for the range, the y coordinates never goes over 3 or -2 so range is 5 is u add the units in between

I hope that makes sense!

Find the coordinates of point P
Drupady [299]
Here is the formula for finding a partitioning point:
x=x1+k(x2-x1), y=y1+k(y2-y1)
k is the ratio of the segment from the beginning point to the partitioning : the whole segment. In this case, k=AP:AB=5/16
so x=1+(5/16)*(-2-1)=1/16
y=6+(5/16)(-3-6)=51/16
so the answer is (-1/16, 51/16)

Please double check my calculation by yourself.

refer to this website for the formula and how to find k:

"This ratio is called k, and is determined by writing the numerator over the sum of the numerator and the denominator of the original ratio."

gogolik [260]

Answer:

2(x+4)/(x+3)(x-4)(x+4) and 1(x+3)/(x+3)(x-4)(x+4)

Step-by-step explanation:

Factor x^2-x-12: (x+3)(x-4)

Factor x^2-16: (x+4)(x-4)

So, LCD would be (x+3)(x-4)(x+4)

Rewritten: 2(x+4)/(x+3)(x-4)(x+4) and 1(x+3)/(x+3)(x-4)(x+4)

I hope this helped and have a good rest of your day!
