PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ValentinkaMS [17]
So I see at least three answers here that could potentially be correct, however I believe the best possible answer would be D. they distribute heat around the planet and are a major factor influencing the climate around the globe.

(The other two possibly correct answers would be A. and B. Animals such as Sea turtles will use the ocean currents as a means of quicker transportation and navigation. Sailors would also use the currents as a means of quicker transportation and navigation, however that is not required today with modern technological advances.)

HELLPP! ITS BIOLOGY
larisa [96]

Answer:

So that in a guinea pig cross in the offspring the recessive trait —long hair— can be observed in 25%, the most probable genotype of the parents is heterozygous Ss.

Explanation:

In guinea pigs, for the characteristic hair length, short hair is the dominant allele and long hair is the recessive one.

In order for 25% of the offspring to express the recessive characteristic, the parents must have a recessive genotype, which can be seen in Punnett's Square:

P: Ss X Ss

Alleles S s

S SS Ss

s Ss ss

Where the offspring is:

  • 50% Ss with short hair phenotype
  • 25% SS with short hair phenotype
  • 25% ss whose phenotype would be long hair.

According to this, heterozygous parents for the characteristic long hair in guinea pigs have a 25% chance of having offspring with long hair.

FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

  • Medullary hormones: the epineprhin and the norepineprhin. Five different effects that these hormones produce are: increase heart rate, produce cardiac muscle contraction, elevate blood preasure, increase breathing, dicrease digestive activity, increase metabolic rate.
  • The most important mineralocorticoid secreted by the adrenal cortex: aldosterone.
  • Actions of the aldosterone: 1. Conserves sodioum ions and water in kidneys. 2. Excrete potasium ions 3. Conserves H2O.

Explanation:

The epineprhin and norepineprhin are the most important medullary hormons. They are so important because of the functions that they have. They are responsable for the increase of heart rate and if it´s movement, along with digestive and metabolic activity.

Thanks to the aldosterone which is the most important secreted minaralocoricoid, kidneys conserve water and sodium and eliminate posatium.
