Can someone explain this a little better and reccommend a graph. Answer quickly due Friday :).

I suggest using one of those examples given, with time as the independent variable. Like rainfall totals every month using fractions for every month. The reasoning for justification, you could say to help farmers get a better estimate to plan what to plant when and where. Hope this helped :)
