Answer:

HOCl is the preferred arrangement.

Explanation:

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl or HClO) is a weak acid that contains Hydrogen, Chlorine and oxygen. Generally both are accurate molecular formulars as hey show the exact number of atoms of elements present in the compound.

However the preferred formular is HOCl. The reason for this is because HOCl implies the molecular structure (that is, how the atoms are bonded to each other). The H is bonded to the O and the O in turn is being bonded to the Cl. HClO on the other hand says nothing about the molecular structure.

A sample of an ideal gas at 1.00 atm and a volume of 1.72 l was placed in a weighted balloon and dropped into the ocean. as the
kolbaska11 [484]
If we analyze the situation analytically, there are situations or states. Then, we are also given with 2 values of pressure and 1 value of volume. Lastly, temperature was set as constant. Thus, this means we use the Boyle's Law.

P₁V₁ = P₂V₂
Let's find V₂.
(1 atm)(1.72 L) = (35 atm)(V₂)
Solving for V₂,
V₂ = 0.049 L

To completely convert 9. 0 moles of hydrogen gas (h2) to ammonia gas, how many moles of nitrogen gas (n2) are required?
evablogger [386]

To completely convert 9. 0 moles of hydrogen gas (h2) to ammonia gas, 3.0 moles of nitrogen gas (n2) are required.

What are moles?

The mole is a SI unit of measurement that is used to calculate the quantity of any substance.

The given reaction is \rm N_2(g) + 3H_2(g) \rightarrow 2NH_3(g)

By the stoichiometry rule of ratio hydrogen: nitrogen

3 : 1

The reacted moles of nitrogen is equals to H/3 moles of reacted hydrogen

So, moles of nitrogen

\rm Moles\; of\; nitrogen = \dfrac{9.0 }{3} =3.0\;mol

Thus, 3.0 moles of nitrogen gas (n2) are required.

What are the uses of solution?

Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Answer:

The majority of chemical processes are reactions that occur in solution. Important industrial processes often utilize solution chemistry. "Life" is the sum of a series of complex processes occurring in solution. Air, tap water, tincture of iodine, beverages, and household ammonia are common examples of solutions.

four types of solution:

Turpentine as a solvent are used in the production of paints, inks and dyes. ↔Water as a solvent is used in the making of food, textiles, soaps and detergents. ↔Alloys are solid solutions that are used in the manufacture of cars, aerospace and other vehicles.
