<u>Answer:</u>

The value of \frac{3}{4}\left(\frac{1}{2} \times-12\right)+\frac{4}{5} is -\frac{37}{10} or (-3.7)

<u>Solution: </u>

\frac{3}{4}\left(\frac{1}{2} \times-12\right)+\frac{4}{5}

Simplifying the equation we get,

\left(\frac{3}{4}\right) \times\left(\frac{1}{2} \times(-12)\right)+\frac{4}{5}

\left(\frac{3}{4}\right) \times\left(\frac{-12}{2}\right)+\left(\frac{4}{5}\right)

Dividing -12 and 2,

[(\frac{3}{4})\times(-6)]+ (\frac{4}{5})

\frac{3 \times(-6)}{4}+\left(\frac{4}{5}\right)

\frac{-18}{4}+\left(\frac{4}{5}\right)

Bringing \frac{-18}{4} to its simplest form of fraction,

\left(-\frac{9}{2}\right)+\left(\frac{4}{5}\right)

\left(\frac{4}{5}\right)-\left(\frac{9}{2}\right)

Factors of 5 = 5\times1

Factors of 2 = 2\times1

Therefore, Least Common multiple of 5 and 2 is 10.

\frac{8-45}{10}

-\frac{37}{10} = (-3.7)

The median number of baskets made by 7 players in a certain basketball game is 5. The range of the number of baskets made by tho
shepuryov [24]
This must be FALSE, because:

7 players x 4(which is the range) = 28 which means that the total number of baskets made is 28.

If the greatest is 8, we must do 28 - 8, which gives us 20. This means that the remaining 6 players (7 - 1 = 6) made a total of 20 baskets.

However, if the fewest is 4 baskets, this means that the remaining 5 players (6 - 1 = 5) must have made a total of 16 baskets (20 - 4 = 16) and that each player must have scored 4 or more baskets each (since 4 was the fewest number of baskets made).

But this is impossible because if the remaining 5 players scored 4 (fewest number possible) each, it would give us 20 (4 x 5). But they should have made 16, or else the total of all the baskets would not be 28 (look back at start).

This means that the statement is impossible and therefore FALSE.

Hope this helped :)

Suppose that are Yi.....Yn are i.i.d random variables with a Nâ(âμY, Ï^2Y â) distribution. How would the probability density of
svp [43]

Answer:

b. As the sample size â increases, the variance of decreases. â So, the distribution of becomes highly concentrated around.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let : Yi,.... Yn are = i.i.d are random variables. The probability density of the distribution varies along with the sample size. When the sample size changes, the probability density of $E^3$ also changes.

The probability distribution may be defined as the statistical expression which defines the likelihood of any outcome for the discrete random variable and it can be opposed to the continuous random variable.

In the context, when the size of the sample of the distribution size increases, it causes a decrease in the variance and so the distribution becomes highly concentrated around.
