The value of ∠EOF is 75°.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us take O be the center of the circle.

Given,

∠AOB = 45°

∠COD = 60°

To find the ∠EOF (value of x)

Now,

Since AD is the diameter of the circle, ∠AOD = 180°

∠AOB+∠COD+∠BOC = ∠AOD

Or, 45°+60°+∠BOC = 180°

or, ∠BOC  = 180°-(45°+60°)

= 75°

Again,

∠BOC  = ∠EOF as they are vertically opposite angle.

Hence,

∠EOF = 75°

A large washer has an outer radius of 10mm and a hole with a diameter of 14mm. What is the area of the top surface of the washer
choli [55]
<h2>Answer:</h2>

The area of the top surface of the washer is:  160.14 square mm.

<h2>Step-by-step explanation:</h2>

The top of the surface is in the shape of a annulus  with a outer radius of 10 mm and a inner radius of 7 mm ( since the diameter of the hole is: 14 mm and we know that the radius is half of the diameter)

Now, we know that the area of the annulus region is given by:

Area=\pi (R^2-r^2)

where R is the outer radius and r is the inner radius.

Here we have:

R=10\ mm\\\\and\\\\r=7\ mm

Hence, we have:

Area\ of\ top\ surface=\pi (10^2-7^2)\\\\i.e.\\\\Area\ of\ top\ surface=\pi (100-49)\\\\i.e.\\\\Area\ of\ top\ surface=\pi\cdot 51\\\\i.e.\\\\Area\ of\ top\ surface=160.14\ mm^2

Solve the proportion by using cross products.
algol13

Answer:

72

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply 8 and <em>n </em>to get 8n

Multiply 3 and 192 to get 576

Write them equal to each other 8n=576

To isolate the variable divide by 8 on both sides

\frac{567}{8} =72

PLS HELP In circle A, secant EC and tangent BC intersect at point C. mЕВ = 171° and mBD 83°. What is mBCD?
liubo4ka [24]

Answer:

∠ BCD = 44°

Step-by-step explanation:

the secant- tangent angle BCD is half the difference of the intercepted arcs, so

∠ BCD = \frac{1}{2} (EB - BD) = \frac{1}{2} (171 - 83)° = \frac{1}{2} × 88° = 44°
