Hi :)

For middle school biology, I think all you need to know is that when you see the word organic it instantly means it has the element: carbon.

And usually a lot of hydrogens too, but never without carbon.

I uploaded a picture of an organic molecule called capsaicin.

It's what makes hot peppers spicy!

Notice how many C you see for Carbon!

Hope this helps :)

Almost all coal used today was produced during the Carboniferous period from dead animals in the swamps.
Ann [662]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

Almost all coal that is used today has its origins in the Carboniferous period. The Carboniferous period was a warm and wet one, with the majority of the land being swampy and covered with dense rainforests of ancient tree species. By the end of this period, the climate quickly changed, resulting int he collapse of the rainforests. As the trees were dying out, they were falling in the swamps, quickly being covered by the mud, so remaining largely preserved. Over time they got exposed to higher pressure and temperatures as they were getting deeper into the crust, eventually resulting in the formation of the coal.

The model shows a cellular process that occurs in every cell in eukaryotic organisms.
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

The correct answer is - create polypeptide and eventually proteins for gene expression.

Explanation:

This model is representing the translation process in protein synthesis which takes place in the cytoplasm of the cell and results in forming proteins from the information carried by mRNA from DNA in a code. The translation is the process that translates the code, carried out by mRNA with help of ribosome and tRNA, into a chain of amino acids called polypeptide chain that forms eventually in protein.

1. mRNA strand and ribosome present of ER translate codes into a protein.

2. Amino acids are transferred by the tRNA molecules to the ribosomes.

3. mRNA and tRNA bases are paired and amino acids are left behind to create polypeptide.

<h3>Prenatal period</h3>

The time leading up to birth is referred to as the prenatal period. During this time, a woman has greater dietary demands. A woman might not be getting enough nutrition since she may not be aware that she is pregnant. Additionally, she might overindulge in alcohol or caffeine, which could have an impact on the developing embryo or fetus. There are three stages of normal prenatal period, which last around 38 weeks total: germinal, embryonic, and fetal. Conception marks the beginning of prenatal period, which finishes with baby's birth. Your pregnancy is divided into three, 12-week trimesters because it takes around 40 weeks, or nine months, to generate a new life. New developments and modifications are brought about by each trimester.
