Given the options I would have to say FALSE with the following caveat: it was not DIRECTLY enabling researchers to pinpoint genetic disorders; it was rather to map the human genome for its own sake, so that humans would know own our genome. One of the clearly stated aims of doing this, however, was to allow researchers in the future to try to pinpoint disease-causing genes and perhaps intervene to treat them.</span>
