6/5=1 with remainder of 1. Carry the 1 and bring down the 8. 18/5=3 with remainder of 3. Carry the 3 and bring down a 0 from after the decimal point. 30/5=6. Therefore the answer is 13.6. Sorry the explanation makes it seem complicated

Which transformation will carry pentagon EFGHI onto itself?
wariber [46]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

The pentagon has 5 interior angles that add up to 360. To find the angle of rotational symmetry, divide 360 by 5 (you get 72). So if you rotated the shape 72 degrees, it will map onto itself. 72 times 2 is 144, and that's rotating the shape 72 degrees twice, so it will stay the same.

Evaluate the line integral, where c is the given curve. c y3 ds,
postnew [5]
Parameterizing \mathcal C by

\mathbf r(t)=(t^3,t)

with 0\le t\le2, we have

\mathrm ds=\|\mathbf r'(t)\|\,\mathrm dt=\sqrt{(3t^2)^2+1^2}\,\mathrm dt=\sqrt{9t^4+1}\,\mathrm dt

So

\displaystyle\int_{\mathcal C}y^3\,\mathrm ds=\int_{t=0}^{t=2}t^3\sqrt{9t^4+1}\,\mathrm dt
=\displaystyle\frac1{36}\int_0^236t^3\sqrt{9t^4+1}\,\mathrm dt
=\displaystyle\frac1{36}\int_{u=1}^{u=145}\sqrt u\,\mathrm du
=\dfrac{145^{3/2}-1}{54}

Evaluate \dfrac{3}{2}+(-k)+(-2)
Dimas [21]

As I understand, we need to evaluate the given rational expression, we will get that the evaluated expression is equal to - 1/10

<h3>Evaluating expressions:</h3>

Evaluating an expression just means that we need to replace the variable in the expression for a given value, here we have the expression:

\frac{3}{2} + (-k) + (-2)

And we want to evaluate it in:

k = -\frac{2}{5}

So we just need to replace k by that value in the above expression, we will get:

\frac{3}{2} + (-(-\frac{2}{5} )) + (-2)

Now we can just solve this:

\frac{3}{2} + (-(-\frac{2}{5} )) + (-2)\\\\\frac{3}{2} + \frac{2}{5}  + (-2)\\\\\frac{15}{10} + \frac{4}{10}  + (-2) = \frac{19}{10} - \frac{20}{10}= -\frac{1}{10}
