Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:   Perimeter = 17x + 4

Discussion:

(So you are trying to sneak #2 out of me too..... );

Perimeter = sum of lengths of sides. Starting at the bottom of the figure and proceeding counterclockwise.

Perimeter =  (3x +2) + (3x+2) + (4x-1) + (4x-1) + (3x + 2) .

Separate and combine x's and constants:

Perimeter = (3x + 3x+4x+4x+3x) + (2 + 2 -1 -1 + 2) =

                = 17x + 4

You answer has the wrong constant value ( you wrote 17x + 1. The constant should be 4)

Thank you,

MrB

Maxie spent 15 hours doing her homework last week this week she spent 18 hours doing her homework she says that she spent 120% m
scZoUnD [109]

Answer: She's wrong.

Step-by-step explanation:

Numbers of hours used in solving homework last week = 15

Numbers of hours used in solving homework this week = 18

Percentage increase = (18 - 15) / 15 × 100

= 3/15 × 100

= 1/5 × 100

= 20%

Since Maxie said that she spent 120% more time doing homework this week, she's wrong. She only spent 20% more.

A train leaves at 11.15 and arrives at its destination at 12.23. If the train travelled 95 km, what was it's average speed in km
xxMikexx [17]

Answer:

Average speed v = 83.8 km/h

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;

Distance travelled = 95 km

Time taken t = 12.23 - 11.15 = 1 hour 8 minutes

t = 1 + 8/60 hours = 1.133 hours.

Average speed v = distance travelled/time taken

substituting the values;

v = 95 km ÷ 1.133 hours

Average speed v = 83.8 km/h

How can I solve this?<br>Please use the simplest format
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

option D is true.

Step-by-step explanation:

The right-angled triangle is shown.

From the right-angled triangle,

The angle Ф = 60°

We know that the trigonometric ratio

tan Ф = opposite / adjacent

  • opposite = 4
  • adjacent = n

Thus,

tan 60 = 4 / n

√3 = 4/n

n = 4/√3

Thus,

n = 4/√3

  = (4 × √3) / (√3 × √3)

  = 4√3 / 3

Thus,

n  = 4√3 / 3

Using Pythagorean theorem

m = √n²+4²

m=\sqrt{\left(4\cdot \frac{\sqrt{3}}{3}\right)^2+4^2}

m=\sqrt{\frac{4^2}{3}+4^2}

m=\sqrt{\frac{64}{3}}

m=\frac{8}{\sqrt{3}}

m=\frac{8\sqrt{3}}{3}

Thus,

  • m=\frac{8\sqrt{3}}{3}
  • n  = 4√3 / 3

Therefore, option D is true.
