Answer:

The setting of Oedipus the King is the main factor for the plot of the play to occur.

Explanation:

The setting plays a significant role on moving forward the different actions, conflicts, and characterizations of the character. The ignorance about setting from the main character causes the tragic ending of the play and represents the most relevant reason for why the story exists.

The setting changes to add onto the story. how the first king heard from Delphi that he would be killed by his own son and the son was to marry his mother after. So he has a servant bring the son into the mountains and leave it there, The shepherd or king of the next kingdom over finds him and raises him without telling him that he was adopted and wasnt their son. So when Oedipus goes to seek his destiny and hears that he well kill his father and marry his mother, he despairs and leaves to try and change his destiny. Upon his path he murders a charioteer and their servants who didnt show respect and treated him horribly without realizing it was his true father and the king of Thebes (was it thebes? a bit rusty on the names) he travels on and meets the Sphinx, solves her riddle and gets it good with being king there until the truth was uncovered. So as the setting changes, we trail along with it, shifting our moods with the plot and surrounding details

Write a paragraph on your opinion what is personal fitness
lorasvet [3.4K]

Answer:

In the beginning, I thought it was necessary for me to take a fitness class because I wanted to lose weight. My goal was to lose ten pounds because I noticed a difference in my weight after my first semester in college and my clothes did not fit the same. However, I realized that I should have a new goal for well-being. My fitness goal is to become healthier by eating foods that nourish the body and building a routine that will keep me active. My objective is to train my body where I can complete simple tasks such as walking up stairs without feeling winded. I have come to the conclusion that I will not be the same size I was as a freshman in college but I can take the initiative to be in shape and maintain good health.

Contrast the beliefs that Brutus held about Caesar’s future as a leader to the future good of Rome; attribute his actions to the
aev [14]
Even though Brutus does not dislike Caesar as a person, he believes that Caesar, who was already beginning to be a tyrannical leader, would become more so as he gained power. While Brutus is not a violent man and does not want to commit murder, when Cassius presents the plan of the conspirators to Brutus, he sees no other option for his attempt to save Rome from the tyranny that seems to be in their future. Therefore, he allows himself to be persuaded by Cassius to join the men planning to assassinate Caesar. Brutus does not deliver the first attack, but it can be argued that he delivered the murderous strike: it was at the point when Caesar realized Brutus had joined the conspirators that he stopped fighting back and conceded to death.
