Find f(-3), f(-1), and f(1)

Mathematics

Answer:

I will just show you how to substitute.

Step-by-step explanation:

all you have to do is just plug f(x) into the number you want. So if you see any x's, all you gotta do is plug that number after f for x.

So an example of an equation for one of your number is:

f\left(x\right)=x^2+x

you then want to plug the number after f for the x's. (I'm doing f(-3).

f\left(-3\right)=\left(-3\right)^2-3

You then should get the equation above.

after that you solve.

f\left(-3\right)=9-3

f\left(-3\right)=6

just follow these steps and you should be fine :))
