2/3 and 12/18 are equivalent fractions, and 12+18 = 30 so the answer is 12:18

Since it is over the course of 5 weeks, divide 13.5 by 5.

Well, the chances are 3 to 1 in the first question, because there are three pencils and only one pen. In the second box it is a 50-50 chance that you will pick a crayon, because there are equal amounts of colored pencils and crayons in the second box.
