We always have to remember that the interior angle and its corresponding exterior angle of the hexagon will always add up to 180° Here's an example 120° + 60° = 180°.

<h3>Answer:  k^2*p^6</h3>

Work Shown:

s = length of each side

s = kp^3

A = area of square

A = s^2

A = s*s

A = (kp^3)*(kp^3)

A = (k*k)*(p^3*p^3)

A = k^2*p^6

To multiply the terms, you add the exponents. Think of k as k^1, so k*k = k^1*k^1 = k^(1+1) = k^2

Find the value of x.
koban [17]

We have the similar triangles. Therefore the lengths of the sides are in proportion:

\dfrac{x}{22}=\dfrac{42}{11+22}\\\\\dfrac{x}{22}=\dfrac{42}{33}\qquad\text{cross multiply}\\\\33x=(22)(42)\qquad\text{divide both sides by 33}\\\\x=\dfrac{(22\!\!\!\!\!\diagup^2)(42)}{33\!\!\!\!\!\diagup_3}\\\\x=\dfrac{(2)(42\!\!\!\!\!\diagup^{14})}{\not3_1}\\\\x=(2)(14)\\\\\boxed{x=28}
