Answer: (- 5, 4)

Justification:

The question asks for the coordinates of the image produced by the composed rotation - 270° o - 90° to the point (-5,4);  that means applying a first rotation of - 90° and a second rotation of - 270°.

That composition of rotation is equivalent to one rotation of (- 270°) + (-90°) =  - 360°.

A rotation of - 360° means 360° clockwise; that is a complete turn, to lead the original point to itself.

Then, the image of  the point (- 5, 4) is the same point ( - 5,4)

The ratio of the number of cups of red paint to the number of cups of yellow paint that Garcia mixed to make a shade of orange p
frez [133]

A.  Garcia mixed four cups of yellow paint with one cup of red paint. So, each red paint would be four yellow paints.

B. Garcia should put four cups of red paint for each red paint. I say this because if the ratio is 4:1 that means its four yellow paints to one red paint.

C. The unit price would be $7, because if you divide 42 by 6, it's 7.

Hope this is right :)

An object is dropped from a bridge and allowed to freefall to the ground. The height of the object over time can be modeled usin
nirvana33 [79]
When the object reaches the ground, the height is zero, so:
0 = 144 - 16t^2
then you just solve for t, so subtract the 144 over
-144 = -16t^2
then divide by the -16
9 = t^2
then take the square root of both sides
3 = t
therefore, it will take three seconds for the object to reach the ground.
