Answer:the answer is adhesive

Explanation:When you spill a glass of apple juice, surface tension keeps the juice in a puddle on the table. Without surface tension, the liquid would continue to spread out until it was simply a thin film of sugary syrup. When you use a paper towel to clean up the spill, the juice sticks to the paper fibers because of another important property called adhesion. Water molecules are attracted to both each other and other materials, such as cloth, paper, and glass. Plants could not survive without the adhesive property of water. Water absorbed from the soil is able to make its way from the roots up the stem to the leaves because of adhesion. The water molecules are attracted to the plant and "climbs" up the stem.
