Peyton obviously had stroke over the night which might either be ischemic stroke (occurs when a blood clot keeps blood from flowing to your brain) or haemoragic stroke (results when a blood vessel in your brain ruptures or breaks, spilling blood into the surrounding tissues) which affected the right side if her body, a left-brain stroke made her weak and not able to move the right side of her body. Other effects from the stroke may include; trouble speaking or understanding words said or written.

located at the base of the brain, the brain stem maintains basic life-supporting functions such as breathing, heart rate, blood pressure, and digestion. When a major stroke occurs in this part of the brain,the outcome is usually fatal.
