3.I'm guessing that since we made advances in things the glass now is much more durable or stronger than earlier giving us more protection in case something hits the windshield or we get in an accident.
4. some cars that have running boards are trucks or burbs. any larger/ tall car.
5. earlier cars were much more boxier than now, the edges on the cars are more round and smooth.

I can't see number one but the answer to number 4 is a vintage car cuz those are  really the ones that have a narrow step step fitted under the side so yeah
