Home is a domestic place where a person can certainly not carry weapons with him. Neither can he boycott from everyone by locking windows and doors. Zero tolerance policy would lead to greater violence at home which is not a goal.
The correct answer is to create a conflict resolution program so as to sit and figure out what is wrong and work on it instead of opting violence without giving it a thought.
