The main reason would be that some forms of birth control may be less effective for teenage girls because their bodies haven't fully matured and settled into a regular menstrual cycle. In addition teenage girls are more fertile than women in their thirties and have a higher chance of conceiving even while taking birth control.

Question # 11
Darina [25.2K]

Answer:

Spirometry is one of the most common tests used to diagnose  diseases and disorders of the  respiratory system.

Explanation:

Spirometry is a diagnostic method that allows us to determine the respiratory flow and volume that reflect normal lung function, as well as its possible alterations.

Using a spirometer, data on simple respiratory function is obtained, such as total lung capacity, vital capacity, inspiratory and expiratory tidal volume, as well as their equivalents in forced spirometry.

Spirometry is used for the diagnosis of respiratory diseases as well as for the routine evaluation of patients with chronic lung disease.

<em>     With regard to the other options, since spirometry is limited to the study of lung function, it does not apply to the study of lymphatic, cardiovascular or circulatory systems.</em>
