A perfectly ideal and just city, as imagined by Plato, comprises of three main categories:
The guardians
The auxiliaries
The producers
These 3 categories correspond to the categories of the soul. Guardians are to govern the just city, followed by soldiers responsible to keep the city safe and producers are on the lowest tier and provide support via farming, being artisans etc.
