Answer:

The property helps to explain this difference is forces between molecules.

Option c

Explanation:

The exact heat of water is 75.28 J/ mol K

The exact heat of methane is 35.7 J/mol K

This is due to the polarity and the hydrogen bonding.

It takes more energy to break these bonds than methane, therefore, we would think water to have a higher specific heat due to these active forces.

So this property helps to explain there is differences in forces between molecules.

Answer:

Option-(C): Forces between molecules.

Explanation:

Difference in the inter-molecular forces between the molecules of the water,H₂O and the methane gas,CH₄. As, water molecules are held tightly by the hydrogen bonds between them and these types are bonds are more stronger then the Van-der Wal forces which are found inside the molecules of the methane gas,CH₄. While, if any molecules posses some strong inter-molecular forces between its molecules or particles then the compound will posses the enhanced capacity to retain more energy, and thus the water molecules are able to absorb more heat and then the molecules temperature can be raised well enough. For, the methane gas,CH₄ the molecules can not retain enough heat in themselves which is required for raising the temperature,T of the compounds.

28 POINTS PLZZZ HELP ME
Ulleksa [173]

For number 3, I believe it is B, as people subconsciously get the name Levi's into their head. When people say I want to go to Levi's stadium for a game, they connect it with good thoughts, and next time they want to get jeans they might think, what jean brand do I know, and think of Levi's.

For number 4, I believe it is D. A is untrue, and B and C have nothing to do with the exchange of information between consumers.

For number 5, it is C, Monopoly. Monopolies are when 1 company is the only one who sells a particular good or service. There are some monopolies, but most of them are by federal agencies and consumers most likely do not want to choose for those services.

For number 6, I believe it is A, right to consumer education. I originally thought it might be B, however, when I looked up B, there was no such law, and what came up is the right to consumer education. I am not 100% sure on this one, but your best bet is A I think.

Hope this helps!

Explain how all three of Newton’s Laws of Motion apply to weightlifting.
Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Answer:

Newton's first law, an object will stay at rest only if there are no external forces acting on the object or if the net external force acting on the object is zero. Since the barbell is at rest (not moving), the net external force acting on it must be zero

Newton's Second Law of Motion via the equation f = ma, or put differently, force is equal to mass multiplied by acceleration. To generate more force, we must either increase mass or acceleration (or both)

Newton's Third Law of Motion is known as the equal and opposite reaction principle
