Answer:x=-7

Because -2 times x makes it -2x and times 5 makes it 10 so it would be -2x-10. you add 10 to get rid of the it and add ten to the 4 now it’s -2x=14 now you divide by -2 and it’ll equal x=-7

Alinara [238K]

Answer:

$84

56

Step-by-step explanation:

The event is attended by 560 people.

\frac{2}{5} of people attending are students.

So, the number of students = \frac{2}{5} \times 560 = 224

Again, \frac{1}{4} of all students are 10 years old or less.

So, the number of students of old 10 or less is \frac{1}{4} \times 224 = 56 (Answer)

The school wants to give out small souvenir footballs to children 10 years and younger. If each football costs $1.50 ,then

the total cost for football is (1.5 × 56) = $84 (Answer)
