The area of the square is 6*6= 36 m squared.

So find the area of the other part, take notice that it is 1/4 of a circle. So we'll find the area of the full circle and then divide it by 4
pi (r) squared which will be 36pi. Divide that by four and you will get approximately 28.27 m square.

Add together these two values and there is your answer :)
36 + 28.27= 64.27

In this case, C seems like the closest answer.

Hope this helps :)

Nastasia [14]

Answer:

the probability that exactly 1 received a special accommodation is 0.3079

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: define the variable

x= the number of students who received a special accommodation.

Step 2: define the distribution of this variable

x ~ binomial distribution ( p=0.02, n=25)

this is because x is the number of succes in 25 trials.

Step 3: using the binomial distribution formula

P(x=1)= (25C1)*(0.05^1)*(1-0.05)^(25-1)=0.3079

where (25C1) is a combination
