Answer:

a. 1.104 , b. 1.2 , c. 0.8382 , d. 1.225 , e. 0.8932 , f. 1.4381 , g. 79.92 , h. 45.573

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to add decimal numbers, first we convert unlike decimals into like decimals i.e decimal numbers having same no. of digits on right side of decimal.

a.0.654+0.45=0.654+0.450=1.104

b.0.9+0.3=1.2

c.0.004+0.8342=0.0040+0.8342=0.8382

d.0.98+0.245=0.980+0.245=1.225

e.0.04+0.8532=0.0400+0.8532=0.8932

f.0.57+0.436+0.4321=0.5700+0.4360+0.4321=1.4381

g.1.54+45.6+32.78=1.54+45.60+32.78=79.92

h.35.78+0.6+4.3+4.893=35.780+0.600+4.300+4.893=45.573

What's 1/4,1/2,3/4,5/8,and 3/10
Daniel [21]
Hello!

Ok so the summation of 1/4+1/2+3/4+5/8+3/10 = 97/40

we find this by finding the GCF of the set of numbers we have here. So we get 40 is the GCF. So we get:

10/40+20/40+30/40+25/40+12/40=97/40

Hope this helps! Any questions please just ask! Thank you so much!

A hiker begins in a valley at 150 feet below sea level. When the hiker reaches the highest point on the trail, he is 579 feet ab
RoseWind [281]

We have been given that a hiker begins in a valley at 150 feet below sea level. When the hiker reaches the highest point on the trail, he is 579 feet above sea level. We are asked to find change (in feet) in elevation of the hiker.

To find change in hiker's elevation we will subtract hiker's initial elevation from hiker's elevation at the end of trail.

\text{Change in elevation}=579--150

We are subtracting negative 150 because at the beginning of trail hiker was 150 feet below sea level.

\text{Change in elevation}=579+150

\text{Change in elevation}=729

Therefore, the change in hiker's elevation is 729 feet.

gavmur [86]

Answer:

The monthly payment is $210

Step-by-step explanation:

The computation of the monthly payment is shown below:

Given that

The cost of the computer i.e. purchased is $1,260

And, there are 6 equal monthly payments

So, the monthly payment is

= Computer cost ÷ number of equal monthly payments made

= $1,260 ÷ 6 payments

= 210

hence, the monthly payment is $210 and the same is to be considered
