G(x) = -3/2x-9, if G(x) = -48, find x
Svetlanka [38]

Answer:

x=26

Step-by-step explanation:

first rewrite the problem since u know that G(x)=-48

-48=-3/2x-9

second you want to add the 9 to -48 which gives u -39

-39=-3/2x

third you want to times the reciprocal so it would be

-2/3 times -39/1

u can cross out the negatives and turn them into a positive

fourth you can cross cancel 3 and 39 which now the problem looks like this

2/1 times 13/1

which you would times 2 and 13 which your answer would be

26

Bobby bought the following at the school store 10 pencils for $0.21 each 8 pens for $0.45 each and Two posters for $0.55 each. H

Bobby would have bought 1.21 dollars worth of items from the school store. This because you would line up the problem. In mine, I did 21 on top, 45 in the middle, and 55 on the bottom. And then I added the 1 + 5 + 5 in the right column which equaled 11. This required me to carry the one to the other side and put the other one down in the answer. Then I did 2 + 4 + 5 + 1 = 12. Then you have to add a decimal which makes the most sense to put it in between the 1 and 2. I hope that this is a help and have a great day! If you can please mark this brainliest and contact me if you need more help!
