We can use the Pythagorean theorem to solve for the missing angle.

Formula: a^2+b^2=c^2

a = 1.5

b = ?

c = 2.5

Now, we can solve for the missing side (b).

1.5^2+b^2=2.5^2\\2.25 + b^2 = 6.25\\2.25 - 2.25 + b^2 = 6.25 - 2.25\\b^2=4\\\sqrt{b^2}=\sqrt{4}\\b=2

Therefore, the correct answer is option B.

Best of Luck!

Answer:

4 squared or B. = 2cm

Step-by-step explanation:

a squared + b squared = c squared

1.5 squared + y squared = 2.5 squared

2.25 + y = 6.25

6.25 - 2.25 = 4.00

squared root of 4 = 2

In triangle ACD, what is the value of X:<br> who ever show works gets brainly.
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

x = 7.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that BE is parallel to CD and intersects the 2 other sides, then it divides the 2 sides in proportion, that is

\frac{AB}{BC} = \frac{AE}{ED}, substitute values

\frac{x}{6} = \frac{10}{8} ( cross- multiply )

8x = 60 ( divide both sides by 8 )

x = 7.5

What must you do if you multiply one number in a ratio by n?
Gala2k [10]
Hi there!

From what I know, when you multiply one number in a ratio, you must also multiply the other number by the same number. This allows for the ratio to stay the same, thus keeping it correct. If both terms were not multiplied by n, the ratio would no longer be the correct ratio.

Hope this helps!! :)
