Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

(1)

Note the ratio of consecutive terms is common, that is

2000 ÷ 2500 = 0.8

1600 ÷ 2000 = 0.8

1280 ÷ 1600 = 0.8

This indicates that the series is geometric with common ratio r = 0.8

The sum to n terms of a geometric series is

S_{n} = \frac{a(1-r^n)}{1-r} ← a is the first term

Here a = 2500 and r = 0.8, thus

S_{5} = \frac{2500(1-0.8^5)}{1-0.8} = \frac{2500(0.67232)}{0.2} = 8404

(2)

Note the difference in consecutive terms is common, that is

3 - 11 = - 8

- 5 - 3 = - 8

- 13 - (- 5) = - 8

This indicates that the series is arithmetic with common difference d = - 8

The sum to n terms of an arithmetic series is

S_{n} = a₁ + (n - 1)d ← a₁ is the first term

Here a₁ = 11 and d = - 8, thus

S_{14} = 11 + (13 × - 8) = 11 - 104 = - 93

Gwar [14]

Answer: 7

pounds for 3.15 is a better option

Step-by-step explanation:

Here in this question, we want to know which of the two options is a better option for buying crickets.

To know the better option, we shall be needing the unit price in whatever system to be used;

7 pounds of crickets for 3.15;

so the unit price here will be 3.15/7 = 0.45 per pound

For the second system, we have 3 pounds for 1.47 so the unit price will be 1.47/3 = 0.49 per pound

As we can see, the first option commands a cheaper price per unit, so it is the better option to buy

Why does (2×3×7)4 = 2^4 3^4 7^4
kow [346]

im assuming the 4 is an exponent, so (2 * 3 * 7)^4 = 2^4 + 3^4 + 7^4 because of the distributive property. the ^4 gets distributed to everything inside of the parentheses.

Pretty sure its C. equal to

Step-by-step explanation:

In physics, potential energy is changed into kinetic energy while an object moves. this energy isn't lost, but simply changed into kinetic energy.

So, if the question is referring to the puck being in mid-air after the drop, then its definitely C.
