Masteriza [31]

Answer: 10, 15

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Stephanie wants to raise at least $800

she plans on selling VIP tickets for $20 each and general admission for $40 each

suppose there are x and y tickets for VIP and general admission

\therefore x+y\leq 25\\\\\Rightarrow 20x+40y\geq 800

solving above two inequality

Stephanie must sell 10 tickets for VIP and 15 tickets for general admission

Ms. Novas bought 3 pounds of jelly beans. She kept 8 ounces for her family and gave the rest to her friends. She gave each frien
Yuki888 [10]

Answer:

A = 40/n

Therefore, she gave each friend 40/n ounces of jelly beans.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;

Total amount of jelly beans To = 3 pounds = 3×16 ounces = 48 ounces

Total amount kept for family Ta = 8 ounces

Total amount given to friends = Ti

Number of friends = n

Amount given to each friend = A

Ti = To - Ta

A = Ti/n = (To-Ta)/n

A = (48 - 8)/n

A = 40/n

Therefore she gave each friend 40/n ounces of jelly beans.

Cosx+1/sin^3x=cscx/1-cosx
ANTONII [103]
<span> I am assuming you want to prove:
csc(x)/[1 - cos(x)] = [1 + cos(x)]/sin^3(x).

 </span>
<span>If we multiply the LHS by [1 + cos(x)]/[1 + cos(x)], we get:
LHS = csc(x)/[1 - cos(x)]
= {csc(x)[1 + cos(x)]/{[1 + cos(x)][1 - cos(x)]}
= {csc(x)[1 + cos(x)]}/[1 - cos^2(x)], via difference of squares
= {csc(x)[1 + cos(x)]}/sin^2(x), since sin^2(x) = 1 - cos^2(x).

 </span>
<span>Then, since csc(x) = 1/sin(x):
LHS = {csc(x)[1 + cos(x)]}/sin^2(x)
= {[1 + cos(x)]/sin(x)}/sin^2(x)
= [1 + cos(x)]/sin^3(x)
= RHS.

<span>I hope this helps! </span>
