Polynomial identity has one side that consists of brackets. A way to prove identity is to get rid of brackets. Once you do that you just compare both sides of equal sign. if values on each side are the same than identity is true.

For example if identity is written by multiplication of factors just multiply them to get rid of brackets and compare it with side that doesn't have factors.

If a side has binomial on square, just square it (again you will get rid of brackets)  and compare it with other side.

Answer:

The answer must be D

Step-by-step explanation:

When a shape like a trapezoid is rotated, the figure will remain the same which means that a rotation will not change the measure of the angles, or the measure of the sides, therefore d must be correct because a rotation is a rigid transformation.

Answer:

  \text{c.} \quad d=\dfrac{s^2}{9.61}

Step-by-step explanation:

In any "solve for" scenario, you identify what operations are performed on the variable of interest, then undo them in reverse order.

Here, the square root of d is multiplied by a constant. To undo these operations, we first divide by the constant. That gives ...

  \dfrac{s}{3.1}=\sqrt{d}

Then, we square both sides of the equation to undo the square root:

  \left(\dfrac{s}{3.1}\right)^2=d\\\\d=\dfrac{s^2}{9.61}

This matches choice C.
