Answer:

Area of ABCD = 30 cm2

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the formula to calculate the area of a trapezoid as following:

Area of a trapezoid = 1/2 x (Base side 1 + Base side 2) x Height

The two base sides of a trapezoid is parallel.

In the trapezoid ABCD, vector AB and vector DC have the same direction

=> AB and DC are parallel and they are two base sides of the trapezoid.

As BH is perpendicular to DC

=> BH is the height of the trapezoid and BH = 6cm

So that the are of the trapezoid is:

Area of ABCD = 1/2 x (AB + DC) x BH = 1/2 x (4+6) x 6 =30 cm2

Find the volume of the cylinder. Use pi = 3.14* the height of 6 inches and a radius 4.5in
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer: 381.51 cubic inches

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Use the formula: V = πr^{2}h, or in this case, 3.14(4.5^{2})(6)

2. Simplify to 3.14(20.25)(6)

3. Simply multiply all three numbers using a calculator, or one by one if that's the preferred option.

4. You get: 381.51 cubic inches.

What is the approximate area of a circle with a diameter of 28 centimeters? Use π = 3.14.
larisa [96]
Formula is π * r^2

π = about 3.14 and the radius is half of the diameter so 28/2 = 14

3.14 * 14^2 = 615.44
