The excretory system is a collection of organs tasked with removing excess nitrogen and other toxins from the body. The kidneys, liver and large intestine perform most of the filtration duties. Solid waste passes out through the colon, gaseous waste exits the body through the lungs and excess liquid leaves through the bladder and skin.

Plants use sunlight to convert nutrients into energy. What form of energy transfer is taking place?
Fudgin [204]

Plants converts solar energy into chemical energy through the process of photosynthesis . The electron and proton from the water molecules are used to produce energy transport molecules i.e ATP and NADPH,  in the light reaction phase of photosynthesis. The energy of the sun excites the chlorophyll molecule which in turn release high energy electron. The energy of ATP and NADPH is further used to fix the carbon in the Kelvin cycle.
