Answer:

y=10x+1

Step-by-step explanation:

subtract \frac{21}{2} - \frac{-9}{-1} to get a slope of 10

insert the slope into the equation with one of the points. 21=10(2)+b

then solve 21=20+b   b=1

place slope and y-intercept ito the equation. y=10x+1

What is the answer to..2/3 y + 3 = 29 ? I really don't understand this...please help.
Alla [95]
Firstly, you bring over the the +3 to the opposite side so it is 2/3y = 29-3 So 2/3y = 26 So for fractions 2\3y =26/1 y= 2/3 divided by 26/1 so first you flip the equation so 26/1 times 3/2 so 26 x 3 = 78 and 1x2=2, so 78/2= 39 y=39

If the difference in the side lengths of two squares is 10, and the sum of the side lengths is 18, what are the side lengths?
likoan [24]
You can use a system of equations to solve this problem. Let one equation be the sum of the sides and the other equation be the difference of the equations. Using elimination method you get 4 & 14.
4+14=18
14-4=10
