Alex_Xolod [135]

It pretty much was told that his people were not to get mixed up with the other people, and what they were originating with. Or pretty much, their affairs, if you put it that way. Some heard the term ... 'bad association spoils useful habits'. This is what Washington was worried about. And both John And Tom had to align this case in court I believe. Washington Court house.

How do the term limits for senators and representatives impact their voting power
mihalych1998 [28]
It makes them more independent. If they had a limitless amount of terms, they could just vote for whatever was suitable at that time and keep their political power. Since they won't be able to stay in the congress longer, then they can vote whatever they want because there's nothing that will affect whether or not they get elected again.

Once the powder keg was ignited, what made it difficult to stop the chain of events that led to all-out war in Europe in 1914?
zepelin [54]

Nations responded to threats to their allies by mobilizing their militaries.

By the time that anyone took back the decision to go to war, it was already too late because militaries got ready so quickly. It was like lighting a fuse, it happens so fast, it is almost impossible to stop.
