Answer: The population pyramid for Japan can be labeled as negative /regressive because it is narrower at the base than in the middle, which illustrates that the population consists disproportionately of middle-aged and older people.

Explanation:

Japan is among the countries with more population in the world, within the world ranking. Its vegetative balance is negative, since currently in Japan there are more deaths than births every year, which means that the population is contracting and is undergoing a process of gradual aging.

Japan has a very low birth rate. The Japanese, who live on average 84.1 years, have a very high life expectancy compared to that of the rest of the citizens of the world.

Japan has a regressive pyramid, with a narrower base than the central zone and a significant percentage of older people. It is a typical pyramid of developed countries, with low birth and death rates and very low natural growth. It is therefore an aging society and with a tendency to be more.

Which of the following identifies the general outline for a speech? A. Conclusion—introduction—body B. Body—conclusion—introduct
nata0808 [166]

Answer:

The correct answer is Option C. Introduction - body - conclusion

Explanation:

A speech that will be coherent and captivating must have an introduction which suggests and lays the foundation for the subject or the title of the speech to be delivered.

The introduction must seamlessly flow into the body of the speech where the facts, figures and details of the speech will be discussed. The body shows the detailed content.

The conclusion usually gives the summary of the salient points discussed in the speech, and it also calls for action or decision.

Thus, the correct outline for a speech is introduction - body - conclusion.

Explain how the civil rights and civil liberties afforded Americans have evolved since the founding of the United States. Assess
Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer:

Ever since from its inception, the constitution of the United States has intended to protect a wide set of civil rights and civil liberties. The Bill of Rights was ratified in 1791, only four years after the US Constitution became effective. Among the civil rights protected are: freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, right to a fair trial and freedom of religion.

Civil rights have expanded throught american history, and it can be argued that they are far more protected in the 21th century, than they were in the 19th or early 20th century. Perhaps, the greatest expansion came from the civil rights movement of the 1960s, which sought to broaden the rights of African Americans and other minorities.

African Americans did not enjoy the same rights as white americans for most of american history, even if this difference violated the Constitution. The end of segregation, and the fight against many forms of discrimination that resulted from the civil rights movement have helped immensely to protect this minority group.

However, some civil rights have been infriged in recent decades. For example, the right to privacy by the NSA.

In conclusion, there is a clear advancement in the protection of civil rights, but there are still plenty of obstacles and setbacks. It is a citizen duty to be vigilant of possible restrictions on liberty.

All personnel decisions must be made solely on the basis of Select one: a. subjective preferences. b. race and color. c. objecti
bogdanovich [222]

Answer:

All personnel decisions must be made on C. objective criteria.

Explanation:

Within any company or organization, all decisions regarding the personnel should be made under objective criteria so as to give every employee a fair stand.

Let's see why the other options are unjust:

 • Subjective preferences: this means someone might be getting favored or unfavored in account of what the individual carrying out the decision, thus this is not a fair option.
 • Sexual preferences: again, the person might get favored or unfavored based on a sexual preference which is unfair once again.
 • National origin: it should not be taken into account when carrying out decisions for the personnel.
