Answer:

x^2 - 12x

Step-by-step explanation:

The given rectangle had a length (l) of (x - 12), and a width (w) of x.

Area of rectangle = l * w

Therefore, the expression representing the are if the given rectangle is:

Area_{rectangle} = (x - 12)*x

Area_{rectangle} = x*x - 12*x

Area_{rectangle} = x^2 - 12x

The expression for the area = x^2 - 12x

Is this problem right because I need to know thanks!!
inna [77]

Sadly, the answer to your question is 'No'. The work written under
the problem on the paper is not correct ... because you tried to do
too much !

You can't combine 'm' terms with 'n' terms or with plain numbers.
They all need to stay separate all the way to the end.

So, actually, your first written line is the answer . . . 7m - 35 + 3n

That's as far as you can go. You can't combine these terms. Stop there !

I really need this plzzzzzz
gulaghasi [49]

Step-by-step explanation:

The exterior angle is the sum of the opposite interior angles of the triangle.

Therefore, m<D +m<C = 118°

=> 8y+3 +3y+5 = 118°

=> 11y = 118° - 8°

=> 11 y = 110°

=> y = 10°

m<D = 8y+3

= 8(10)+3 = 83°

m<C= 3(10)+5 = 35°

m<DEC = 180° -118° = 62°
