Answer:

15%

Step-by-step explanation:

17/20 the 17 is the part, and the 20 is the whole

17/20 = x/100

cross multiply

17*100= 1,700 divide by 20

=85

The price reduced to 85% the original price, but to find out how much it changed, you have to subtract the part from the whole meaning

100% - 85% = 15%

vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:

$318

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculation to determine the predicted end-of-year value of a portfolio

Given expression 1.08s + 1.02b

Now let determine the Predicted end-of-year value

Predicted end-of-year value=1.08(200) +1.02(100)

Predicted end-of-year value=216+102

Predicted end-of-year value=$318

Therefore the predicted end-of-year value of a portfolio will be $318

Which equation, when solved, results in a different value of x than the other three?
kicyunya [14]
I would have to say -7(1/8)x-4/3=20.

The first and the second one both result in
-23 5/7

The last one results in -24 8/21

but the third one is -22 3/8.

So your answer is either the third of the last one. I assumed the third because, it is lower than all others and the first two are closer to 24 than they are to 22. It’s your choice on how to judge it.
