Answer:

The correct answer is - through infected beef.

Explanation: Prions are the type of proteins that are misformed and can infect other proteins and transmit misfold or misform to normal proteins. These proteins can infect humans and animals like a cow.

In humans CJD and in cows it is known as mad cow disease. Abnormal prions are present in the infected animal's brain and spinal cord tissues. This can infect a normal tissue by getting a touch in the infected brain tissue during butchering and can contaminate the beef with prions and transmitted to humans who eat that infected beef.

Thus, the correct answer is - through infected beef.

Prion disease is a protein that can affect the brains protein. People can get it through family history or its passed on through the genes, those who ate a cow infected by mud cow disease and infections from medical equipment. I hoped this helped.

When amino acids are degraded for energy or glucose production, their amine groups are incorporated by the liver into ____.
masya89 [10]

Answer:

The correct answer is - urea.

Explanation:

In our body, to produce energy or produce glucose our body breaks the amino acids, it gets from proteins mainly. These amino acids are mainly breakdown into amine groups.

The human body has a unique ability to pack ammonia(amine group) by converting it to urea and incorporated and produced by the liver using 2 molecules of ammonia (NH3) and 1 molecule of carbon dioxide (CO2). This incorporated urea is then secreted from the liver and incorporated into the urine in the kidney for further process.

jeka94

Wavelength light source is part of the control group for William’s experiment

Explanation:

Sir William wanted to conduct an experiment to observe how much heat passed through different colour filters of the sunlight. He directed sunlight to pass through the prism and observed vibgyor and measured the temperature. He found that the temperature increased from violet to red.

Then he was inquisitive to find the temperature beyond the red ray. That’s when he found the infrared rays which had higher temperature that was not to be seen through naked eyes. He performed experiments using the light source and found that the wavelength of light are not refracted in a particular pattern.
